Technical Details
The project involves the detailed design, bidding, and Author’s supervision for the improvement works of the 34.6 km long road section of Corridor 16: G105: R3 – Costești – Țipala – G106. The corridor passes through several villages, including Pojăreni, Costesti, Zimbreni, Horeşti and Ţipala.
The improvement works include:
- Pavement Treatment: Implementing high-quality, durable pavement solutions to ensure long-lasting performance, improved ride quality, and a smooth, comfortable travel experience for all road users
- Hydraulic Works: Delivering comprehensive water management systems, including culverts, river training, ditches, channels, and outfall pipes, to efficiently control water flow, mitigate erosion, and prevent flooding
- Safety Measures: Prioritizing road safety with the installation of clear, strategically placed road signs, high-visibility road markings, and robust safety barriers, providing enhanced protection for both drivers and pedestrians
- Auxiliary Works: Enhancing infrastructure and connectivity through additional improvements, including access roads, drainage systems, bus lay-bys, and shelters, pedestrian crossings, major junction upgrades, and side-road connections, ensuring seamless and safe mobility for all users
