Technical Details
The projects involve the detailed design, bidding and Author’s supervision for the improvement works of road sections spanning a total length of 166 km. These sections are part of five corridors: 5, 10, 16, 24, 25.
The corridors passes through several villages: lvanovca, Vanţina, Ocolina, Tepilova, Lugovoe, Chiştelniţa, Scorţeni, Meseni, Ignăţei, Pecişte, Pripiceni-Curci, Trifeşti, Pojăreni, Costesti, Zimbreni, Horeşti, Ţipala, Ciobalaccia, Tartaul, Vişniovca, Baimaclia, Goteşti, Enichioi, Sadaclia, Carabetovca, Mihailovca, Iserlia, Ivanovca.
The improvement works include:
- Pavement Treatment
- Hydraulic Works (bridges, culverts, river training, ditches, channels, outfall pipes)
- Safety Measures (road signs and markings, safety barriers)
- Auxiliary Works (access roads, gutters, bus lay-bys, bus shelters, pedestrian crossings, main junctions, side-road connections, and crossroads).
Below the basic design specifications are mentioned:
- Speed Limits: 40 km/h in residential areas and 60 km/h in rural areas
- Carriageway Width: 7 meters
- Pavement Lifespan: 15 years.
