Technical Details

The project involves the design and supervision of the construction of a new double high-speed railway line (250 km/h) with a total length of 93.5 km, from Parnu, Estonia, to the Latvian border. It is divided in three design priorities sections, DPS1, DPS2 and DPS3 to ensure proper planning and management of the design process.

 

The project includes railway earthworks, railway superstructure and stations, railway bridges, road bridges, walls, crossings, ecoducts, culverts, ditches, cable ducts for signalling and other needs, fences, noise barriers etc.

Services Provided

The scope of services includes five main stages: Inception phase,  Value Engineering,  Master Design, Detailed Design and  Supervision Services for the design implementation during the construction phase.

The design services included:  Topographical Surveying and Design,  Geotechnical Surveying and Design,  Railway and Roads Design (including stations),  Railway Station Design,  Hydraulics Design,  Structural Design,  Environmental studies.
