Technical Details
The project involves the design of the new building of the 5th Primary, located on a plot of land with an area of 3,234 m² on the streets of Kiousis, Hydras, and Ag. Paraskevi. It is a 2-story building with basement, which includes 12 classrooms, a multipurpose and event room, laboratories, library, offices, parking areas, dining room, food preparation etc., in a total area of approx. 3,500 m².
The central concept for the building is the creation of an interior open space that functions as an atrium, around which all activities are arranged, serving as the “heart” of the building. The spaces are housed in 3 distinct buildings connected through semi-outdoor corridors.
Services Provided
The contract covers preliminary, final, and detailed design, including topographical, geotechnical, architectural, structural, electrical & mechanical designs, building permit and tender documents, out of which the geotechnical surveys and design, structural design & tender documents are assigned to OBERMEYER.
